Doctor Who is a British Television Program, which has its story based on scientific fiction and produced by BBC. This is an adventurous story of an alien, the Doctor, who explores the universe in his time machine, called Tardis.

This show was first launched in the year 1963 in London. It worked good till 1989, and after that it was again produced by BBC in 2005. This show is in the record list of Guinness World Records for being the longest running science fiction show.

Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are the prominent members of the star cast of the show. Before this, Matt Smith was a football player, who had to leave the game because of back injury. He is known for his shows like The Ruby In The Smoke and The Shadow In The North. He is best recognized for the role of Danny in the BBC series Party Animals.

Arthur Darvill plays the role of Rory Williams, the eleventh Doctor’s Companion. He is also known for his shows Terre Haute and Swimming With Sharks, while Karen Gillan plays Amy Pond.
